Volta Charger Warranty Policy

At Volta Charger, we stand behind the quality of our products and aim to provide reliable support to our customers. This warranty policy outlines your rights under our express warranty, in addition to the consumer guarantees provided by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which apply to all purchases.

Current Warranty Coverage
  • Cables & Accessories: 16 months from the date of purchase
  • Power Banks & Chargers: 12 months from the date of purchase
  • Covers manufacturing defects only (e.g., faulty materials or workmanship)
Previous Lifetime Warranty (Discontinued Products)

Applicable Products: Select USB-C magnetic cables (e.g., Volta 2.0, Volta XL, Volta Spark) purchased prior to January 1, 2023.

Coverage: Lifetime warranty for the reasonable lifespan of the product (typically 5–7 years for cables, depending on use), subject to terms.

Limitations: If replacement stock or materials are no longer available due to technological changes, warranty may be limited to alternative remedies.

Why the Change?

We revised our lifetime warranty based on customer feedback and industry realities. As older products become obsolete and manufacturing materials are discontinued, the lifetime warranty becomes impractical. Our current 12- and 16-month warranties offer clear, dependable coverage.

How the Warranty Works
  • What’s Covered: Manufacturing defects only. Excludes accidental damage, wear and tear, misuse, or modifications.
  • Remedies: Repair, replacement, or refund (at our discretion) within the warranty period, based on availability and issue type.
  • Discontinued Products: If unavailable, we offer a comparable product at a minimum 30% discount or a repair if feasible.
  • Process: Email care@voltacharger.com with proof of purchase and issue details/photos. We aim to respond within 2 business days and resolve claims within 5 business days.
  • Exclusions: Damage due to misuse, improper handling, water exposure, or external impact may void the warranty.
Your Rights Under the ACL

This express warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You may still be entitled to a remedy if your product fails to meet acceptable quality standards within a reasonable timeframe, even beyond the stated warranty period. Volta Charger offers various shipping options, including expedited shipping in the U.S. (2-3 business days), express shipping in Australia (1-3 business days), and next business day delivery via Royal Mail in the UK. What’s the return and refund policy for Volta Charger products?

We accept returns within 30 days of purchase. Products must be in their original condition and packaging. To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team for instructions on the return process. Kindly note that we do not provide return labels, so the cost of the return shipping is covered by the customer.

Are Volta Charger products compliant with airline travel rules?

Yes, Volta Charger products comply with airline travel regulations regarding battery and charging devices. However, we recommend checking specific airline policies, as they may vary.
