The Best 8 Smartphones in 2019

The Best Phones of 2019

With the mobile device world seeing improvement every day to mobile device features, it is easy to get confused as to what phone to buy. You are probably one of those who would always want to go for the best mobile device in the market at any time. But to be honest, is there really a particular best mobile phone? Can one stand out to claim to be the overall best against other mobile phones? There is no single perfect mobile phone for everyone, as it all comes down to preference at the end. That said, the order of this list is not in any particular hierarchy. They are our own suggestion of the best smartphones for 2019.

1. OnePlus 7 Pro

The camera, display, and core specs of the OnePlus 7 Pro are amongst the best of smartphones released this year. Although it sells at about 669USD, with the absence of wireless charging and IP rating, the price is justifiable by its other many other top-notch features.

2. Google Pixel 3

Available as both Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL, this phone is one of the best smartphones that can give you the most enjoyable Android experience. Pixel 3 and 3XL also overshadow most of its competitors when it comes to camera and image quality. Sold at 799USD, it is definitely worth the price as it is also waterproof and features wireless charging.

3. Xiaomi Mi 9

Featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor, the latest Snapdragon 855 processor from Qualcomm, 20W wireless charging, and a triple-lens camera including a 48MP lens, the Xiaomi Mi 9 is an upgrade from the Mi 8, and it’s worth every penny it costs.

4. Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus

Of course, this list would be automatically deemed unreliable if the Samsung Galaxy S10 plus doesn’t make it to the list. It is arguably the best Galaxy phone with improved camera, display, performance, and build. Also, unlike most smartphones using the notch design, the Samsung S10 uses a punch-hole design that improves your user experience. It also has a triple camera with mind-blowing software improvements.

5. Oppo Reno 10x Zoom

A 48MP primary camera lens with 5x optical zoom, and further 10x optical zoom using the device’s software, Oppo Reno 10x Zoom takes a spot on this list. It comes with a Snapdragon 855 processor and a notchless display coupled with the triple camera array.

6. iPhone 11

One of the cheapest iPhones at launch, the iPhone 11 does not cut back so much on features, even though it has cut back on cost. At a relatively affordable price for an iPhone, it comes with a 12MP primary camera and 12MP ultra-wide camera, which gives you more space to add more elements into your photo. It still features the notch that has been present since the days of the iPhone X. The pro models of the iPhone 11 have a triple-lens camera, but the iPhone 11 doesn’t.

7. Huawei P30 Pro

At the same price as the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, which costs over 1000USD, this new Huawei release has the best camera on any smartphone with its 10x optical zoom and impressive low light performance. Its battery life is also another thing to make you envious. However, this phone isn’t available in the US.

8. Sony Xperia 1

At first glance, what you see is a weird-looking phone with an immense 21:9 aspect ratio. However, considering this well, you realize with such a screen, you will be getting a close-to-cinema moment when you watch movies on this phone. Sony Xperia 1 also has the first notchless 4K HDR OLED display on any smartphone.
