Let me preface this by saying this is the 2nd order I've made in less than 6 months. The 1st one arrived after a painfully long waiting time (around 2 months). I live in the US, so longer shipping times are to be expected coming from Australia. With COVID-19 drastically impacting the demand for online retail, my wait time, at no fault of Volta, was exponentially increased further. When I received my first order (cable and magnetic tips), I used it in my truck for 2 days before it broke. However, this was my fault entirely. While it concerned me that a cable could disconnect from the USB end of the cable that easily, it wouldn't have happened had I been a bit more careful. I emailed Volta about this, and, as always, had an almost immediate and sincerely helpful response. When they asked what happened, i told them it was my fault. When they said they could offer replacement if I could send the broken one back (for improving product durability), I told them it must've gotten thrown away accidentally. They then proceeded to process a replacement order with free shipping, despite my candor and lack of proof.
I don't say this lightly and mean it in the best way......I find it amazing that a company with a product so brilliant in its simplicity can still find a way to make their customer service the best part of the experience. I will order exclusively from Volta as long as I have a phone. They've more than earned it.
